The map in the picture shows the concentration of heritage assets surrounding the proposed 300-home Bloor’s development on Green Fields on our Green Belt land next to Church Road/ Coulter Lane.
The 300-home site is right next to historically significant areas like Burntwood Green and Edial, where most of the town’s heritage assets are located. This development goes against core Green Belt purposes: stopping urban sprawl and preserving the special character of historic towns. It’s impossible for this land to be reclassified as ‘Grey Belt’ which makes this proposal unsustainable in planning terms.

Developers are trying to brush the historic value of this land to one side!
