They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this video shows five hundred voices united for the soul of our town.
On January 18th, we didn’t just walk along Coulter Lane; we drew a line in the sand. This video captures the moment the “Burntwood 500” proved that our heritage and our rural identity are not for sale. Watch here:
The Burntwood Five Hundred…
Five hundred boots on the Coulter Lane, Five hundred voices, one refrain. Through winter’s chill and the morning grey, We marched to keep the concrete away.
For the peace we find in the open air, And the rural soul that we all share. The owls will hoot and the lapwings fly, Beneath a quiet and tranquil sky.
WHY THIS VIDEO MATTERS: Lichfield District Council and Bloor Homes need to see this. They need to see that we aren’t just “names on a portal”—we are a community that values the tranquility of the Fulfen Hamlet and the safety of our narrow lanes.
This footage, along with the coverage from BBC Midlands Today and Chase TV, is now a permanent part of the record. It proves that this is the WRONG PLACE and the WRONG TIME.
WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW:

Thank you to everyone who showed up. We are the Burntwood 500, and we are just getting started. 💪
