The word is out, and the cameras are rolling! We are thrilled to announce that BBC Midlands Today will be joining us TOMORROW for our “Save Our Greenbelt” peaceful protest walk.

This is our chance to show the entire region that Burntwood says NO to the Coulter Lane development. Let’s make some noise (peacefully!) and show them the strength of our community.

HERE IS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:

📅 WHEN: Sunday, 18th January
⏰ MEET: 11:30 AM
📍 WHERE: The Nags Head Car Park (WS7 9HA)
🚀 WALK STARTS: 12:00 PM Sharp

THE ROUTE: The walk will take us along Rugeley Road ➡️ Church Road ➡️ Coulter Lane ➡️ Nether Lane and back to the Nags Head.

IMPORTANT LOGISTICS:

🚫 NO CARS IN THE PUB CAR PARK: Please do not park at the Nags Head. They are trading normally and we must support our local business by leaving their spaces for customers. Please walk to the start or park legally and safely further away.

🧥 DRESS FOR THE WEATHER: It’s January—wear your big coats, sturdy boots, and waterproofs.

🚸 STAY SAFE: Please stay on the pavements/verges and look out for one another, especially children and pets.

🎥 WAVE AT THE CAMERAS: When you see the cameras, give them a wave! Let’s show them the faces of the people who will be impacted by this development.

This is the “Wrong Place at the Wrong Time.” Let’s make sure the BBC sees exactly why this land is worth fighting for. 🌳🚫🏗️
