If you live in or care about Burntwood, this affects you.

The Burntwood Action Group (BAG) is calling on all residents to join us in a peaceful, family-friendly protest walk on Sunday, 18th January 2026. We are standing together to say NO to the destruction of our precious Green Belt land.

Our message is simple: It is the wrong time, and the wrong place.

Why This Matters Now

The threat to our Green Belt is not just about losing open spaces; it’s about the future sustainability of our town. We need to protect this land before it is too late—once Green Belt land is gone, it is gone forever.

Our local services are already stretched to breaking point. Further development on Green Belt land will inevitably lead to:

  • More cars and congestion on our already busy roads.
  • Fewer GP and doctor appointments for current residents.
  • Less school places for our children.

We cannot sit by while the infrastructure of Burntwood is overwhelmed.

See you on the 18th.
